| Description: | This one day class is designed for individuals involved in the management and operations of material recovery facilities (MRFs) and drop-off centers. COURSE INCLUDES -Orientation -Trip to Midwest Fiber Recycling for a guided tour -Classroom discussion -50-question exam -Certificate of completion GUEST SPEAKERS Sergio Frapio of Azure Technologies Inc. John Schumaker of Assurance Safety Consulting Paul Jaquet with Eagle Enterprises Recycling Inc. COURSE DETAILS The course will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end by 3:00 p.m. Cost is $30 for IRA members and $60 for nonmembers and will include a manual, transportation to and from the MRF, and lunch. This course can be used for continuing education credits for IRA’s future Certification Program. Please wear pants, closed-toe shoes, and no high-heels for safety at the MRF.
